How to Fix Session Expired and Login/Logout Issues

If you're seeing "Session Expired" errors or having trouble logging in or staying logged in, clearing your browser cache and cookies for Sammy usually fixes the problem.

How to Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

Chrome (Desktop & Mobile)

  1. Go to the Sammy web app in your browser (app.withsammy.ai)
  2. Click the lock icon (or tune icon) in the address bar
  3. Click "Site settings"
  4. Tap "Clear data" or "Delete data"
  5. Close the tab and reopen Sammy

Alternatively: Settings → Privacy and Security → Clear browsing data → select Cookies and other site data → Last 24 hours (or whenever you last logged into your account) → Clear data

Safari (iPhone / iPad)

  1. Open SettingsAppsSafariAdvancedWebsite Data
  2. Search for app.withsammy.ai
  3. Swipe left on the row
  4. Tap Delete

Safari (Mac)

  1. Open Safari → menu bar → SafariSettings (or Preferences)
  2. Go to the Privacy tab
  3. Click "Manage Website Data..."
  4. Search for the Sammy domain, select it, and click "Remove"
  5. Close the tab and reopen Sammy

Edge (Desktop)

  1. Go to the Sammy web app (app.withsammy.ai) in your browser
  2. Click the lock icon in the address bar
  3. Click "Site permissions"
  4. Click "Reset permissions", then also clear site data:
  5. Go to edge://settings/siteData → search for the Sammy domain → click the trash icon
  6. Close the tab and reopen Sammy

Mobile App (iOS)

  1. Delete the Sammy app
  2. Reinstall from the App Store
  3. Open the app and sign in again

Mobile App (Android)

  1. Go to SettingsAppsSammy
  2. Tap StorageClear Data
  3. Reopen the app and sign in again

If the Problem Persists

If clearing your cache doesn't resolve the issue:

  1. Try logging in from an incognito/private browser window
  2. Check that your internet connection is stable
  3. Contact support with details of the error message you're seeing
