What's the Refer and Save Program?
Refer & Save rewards you for spreading the word. When someone you refer upgrades to Sammy Pro, you get a free month of Pro.
How It Works
- Get your unique referral link from the Refer & Save page
- Share the link with friends, colleagues, or other tradies
- They sign up using your link
- When they upgrade to Pro, you receive one month free
It's that simple – for every person who upgrades, you get another free month.
Accessing Refer & Save
Click Refer & Save in the sidebar navigation to access your referral dashboard.
Your Referral Link
Your unique referral link is displayed at the top of the page. Use the Copy button to copy it to your clipboard, then share it via:
- Text message
- Social media
- Word of mouth (just have them type the link)

Tracking Your Referrals
The Refer & Save page shows your referral stats:
Total Referrals
The number of people who signed up using your link.
Converted Referrals
The number of those people who upgraded to Sammy Pro.
Rewards Earned
The total months of free Pro you've earned (equals converted referrals).
Referral Details
Below the stats, you'll see a table showing each referral:

| Status | Their current status (In Trial, Upgraded, Did Not Upgrade) |
| Signed Up | When they created their account |
| Reward | Whether you've been credited |
Status Meanings
- In Trial – They've signed up but are still on the free trial
- Upgraded - Referral Awarded – They upgraded and you received your free month
- Did Not Upgrade – Their trial ended without upgrading
When Rewards Are Applied
Rewards are applied automatically:
- Trial users – Your trial is extended by 30 days
- Pro subscribers – Your next billing cycle includes the free month
You'll see the reward reflected in your Billing settings.

- Other tradies in your network
- Builders, sparkies, plumbers, chippies you know
- Anyone who quotes jobs and sends proposals
What to Tell Them
- "This app writes my quotes for me – saves me hours"
- "Just describe the job and it generates the whole estimate"
- "Try it free and see how much time you save"

Common Questions
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer? No limit – refer as many people as you like and earn a free month for each one who upgrades.
When does my free month start? The reward is applied when the referral upgrades. For subscribers, it's added to your next billing cycle.
What if my referral upgrades but I'm on Basic? The reward is stored. When you upgrade to Pro, the free month will apply.
Can I refer someone who already has an account? No – referral links only work for new sign-ups.
